I Are Enemy
Description:
Is my guy shooting my guy? Must be a bug...
Usually in all tower-defense games you defend a target from waves of enemies with guns, blockades, and turrets. What if those towers you put down starts to turn on you? You might say they have an error, a bug, or maybe they're even corrupted!
It's your job to stop the drones from attacking your little Brain Rock, while also putting an end to towers that have turned on you.
How To Play:
Use the number keys on the keyboard (1 & 2) to select a tower. Left Click on the red area to place the tower down. Be aware that all towers cost Grey Cells to place down, the tower and value can be found in the lower left of the screen.
Over time some of your placed towers will turn against you. Right Click on a suspected corrupted tower to allow all other friendly turrets to fire on this tower.
Over time there will be Grey Cell Rocks that spawn and drop on the ground, you can Left Click these to add it to your Grey Cell Stash (screen top-right).
Enemies will attack towers and the Brain Rock in the middle of the head. If the head sinks below the ground then the game is over and you can restart.
Reach 200 Grey Cells to WIN!
Helpful Tips:
- Placement is Everything
- Beware of where you place towers. Targeting a corrupted tower can cause friendly towers to attack untargeted towers obstructing view to the target.
- Turrets can Target
- When targeting a tower, only Turrets will fire at the target, Zappers can't.
Controls:
Key | Use |
Left Click | Place Tower, Pickup Grey Cell Rocks |
Right Click | Target Tower |
1 | Select Turret |
2 | Select Zapper |
Escape | Open Pause Menu |
Known Issues:
- I submitted this game for the Path Notes Game Jam. This build of the game is CHALLENGING to get through and will have you replaying many times to win.
- There is NO SOUND in the game at the moment.
- There are NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to play the game in the game itself and you'll have to rely on this itch page for that information.
